Classic
Guess the hidden 5-letter word in six tries. Harder word levels get an extra try or two.

Solve every word in a crossing grid. Tap a word to select it, type a guess, press Enter.
Green letters lock in and fill any word that crosses there. The guess budget is shared by the whole grid.
Theme (daily)
Every word in the grid shares a hidden theme. Each word you solve earns one guess from six choices. Some choices are red herrings.
Prizes: Medium pays Unlock, 50/50, Dictionary, then Unmask for a right guess on your 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th chance. Easy pays 50/50, Dictionary, then Unmask. Miss them all and you get nothing.
Helpers
Helpers never cost a guess, and you keep them across all three games until you use them.
Unlock fills in the selected word (Crossle and Theme). 50/50 knocks out half the letters left that aren't in the word. Dictionary shows the definition (not in Theme). Unmask reveals one letter.
Earn them by winning with guesses to spare, by naming the theme, and by opening the game every day: 7 days in a row gives Unmask, 14 Dictionary, 21 50/50, 28 Unlock, then the cycle repeats. Miss a day and it starts over.
Answers are never plurals. Words that end in S on their own, like CHAOS, can appear. Settings also has double-letter hints and word level.
